"Permanent" Beauty for Women with Thinning Hair?

“Permanent” Beauty for Women with Thinning Hair?

As a distributor of Volluma, I keep a close eye on everything related to beauty and beauty products. So what have I been watching lately? Permanent makeup. No, permanent makeup is not new, but it seems to be gaining a lot of momentum.

At first, I felt a little appalled. What is there to gain from permanent makeup that applying makeup each morning cannot achieve? And then I read this on Wikipedia: It is also used to produce artificial eyebrows, particularly in people who have lost them as a consequence of old age, disease, such as alopecia, chemotherapy, or a genetic disturbance, and to disguise scars and white spots in the skin such as in vitiligo.

Suddenly, I understood. In the same way Volluma helps women with female hair loss, permanent makeup artists can help women look and feel their best. If you are suffering from alopecia areata, chemotherapy, or other “all-over” hair loss diseases, then you may see a great need for permanent makeup.

It may even be something less severe than alopecia causing discomfort. For example, a woman I knew had a visible gap between one of her eyebrows. The gap was a result of the chicken pox she caught as a young girl. This woman does a fine job of “filling in” her eyebrow every morning. But what happens when she goes swimming?

Permanent makeup is merely filling a need. A need that Volluma creates.

If you’ve tried our product, then you know that Volluma is not a permanent solution for hair loss. Unless you’re a suitable candidate and are willing to try hair transplant surgery (and there are still a lot of reasons not to), no hair loss solution is permanent. But Volluma is about as close it comes to giving you that look.

Did you know that while using Volluma, you can play sports (sweat), wear hats, and even swim without worry? It’s true. Volluma was designed to stay put. (Of course, our special shampoo removes it easily.) Because…you should feel beautiful whether you’re simply going out to dinner or taking a dip in the pool.

Okay, so Volluma’s not permanent, but it will sure save you from all kinds of awkward situations.

So how do I feel about permanent makeup now? I think it’s great. Sure, there are women who will choose to have it done to save time or for other less serious reasons. But the point is this…the beauty industry is doing everything it can to help you look good and feel great. And with all these solutions on the market (Volluma, permanent makeup, etc), there is no reason you shouldn’t feel permanently beautiful.
