Like most cosmetics, Volluma can transfer onto fabrics.
Volluma is easily removed with normal washing but we recommend protecting your clothing and exposed surfaces during application. If you sleep wearing Volluma, you may want to consider a non-white pillowcase.
Volluma was developed by hair transplant surgeons to improve the visible result of hair replacement surgery. It has been tested and proven extremely effective on hair transplants after healing is complete.
Volluma is best on hair longer than 1″ (25 mm).
It is not for use on bare skin as the microfibers need to attach to hair on the scalp. The exception to the above is that Volluma works well to hide the small bald spots of Alopecia Areata especially in combination with longer surrounding hair.
Volluma can be used with other styling products such as waxes and gels.
Apply them as usual after Volluma is dry and a (non-silicone based) hairspray has been applied.
Volluma works well to improve the results of re-growth products such as minoxidil and others.
“WOW! You have a great product here! It’s amazing and I am SURE hairstylists themselves will want it (in their salon).” Suzanne Weinman Author of “Blow Drying 101 – Secrets from a Hairstylist” Redondo Beach, California |
